WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM MANAGER

As a Talent Development Program Manager, you will play a key role in shaping how the region attracts, develops, and retains the next generation of diverse talent. Working closely with the CEO and RBC team members, you will lead the strategy and promote the mission of talent initiatives by providing opportunities for networking, professional development and community involvement.

This role will manage and promote the Young Professionals Network (“YPN”), Leadership 100 and Mentor Network programs.

  • Young Professionals Network (YPN) – Designed to support and advance St. Louis’ young professional talent, this 3,000+ member program, provides opportunities for leadership development, peer networking, and connections to the broader St. Louis community. You will grow and drive membership, manage events and cultivate relationships with members and community organizations.
  • Leadership 100 – Each year, 100 young professionals are recognized for their demonstrated leadership and service to the community. You will manage the application and selection process, as well as identify professional, social and community involvement opportunities for members to drive continued success and program growth.
  • Mentor Network – A talent pipeline initiative, Mentor Network bridges students to opportunity by connecting university talent with RBC company executives and community leaders to create pathways for careers after graduation. You will establish relationships and work directly with university partners in the region’s leading Engineering and Business schools to identify and recruit students for the program. You will also identify and recruit regional mentors from RBC networks, including CEOs and community partners, and you will plan and execute key events for the program’s onboarding, kickoff, and end-of-year culmination.

  • COMPETITIVE SALARY & COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS – Compensation includes an annual base salary ($70,000-$80,000), commensurate with experience, and bonus eligibility.   • You are a collaborative team player, proactive in motivating and supporting others.
  • You are a critical thinker who seeks innovative ways to improve processes, programs, and overall impact.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing a wide spectrum of projects and can flex between strategic and tactical priorities with ease.
  • You have strong technology skills and comfortable with tools like Microsoft365, meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom), e-marketing tools (Benchmark), CRM (e-Tapestry) and relevant cloud-based software.
  • You hold a four-year college degree.

WORK LOCATION & OFFICE HOURS

This position requires an on-site presence at RBC’s office five (5) days a week. Standard office hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, with “early Fridays” ending at 3:00pm. Office is based in downtown Clayton at 7701 Forsyth Avenue, Ste. 205, Clayton, Missouri, 63105. Free parking is provided.
